Abstract
Aqueous surfactant compositions of alkyl phosphate ester salts having a molar ratio of mono- to di-alkyl phosphate esters equal to or greater than 80:20, and amphoteric surfactants essentially free of tetra-alkyl ammonium moieties. The aqueous surfactant compositions have very low dermal irritation properties.
