Abstract
To notify users, in real time, of information that matches a search preference. Preference database , register , preference setting unit , recording unit , preferential search unit , notification unit and channel display section are provided. Preference database stores, associated with the user, one or more search preferences to search for a channel. Register registers search preferences in preference database . Preference setting unit receives the input of search preferences, and sends them to register , associated with the user. Recording unit stores the state of each channel. Preferential search unit judges, based on the state of each channel, whether each channel satisfies any search preference. Based on the judgment of preferential search unit , notification unit notifies the corresponding user terminal of the channel that meets any search preference of the user. Channel display section outputs the reported contents.
