Abstract
An article of equipment intended to be submerged in molten zinc and low percentage aluminum/zinc melts, said article containing an alloy material comprised of carbon, chromium, nickel, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, niobium (columbium), cobalt, boron, iron and/or zirconium, wherein vanadium is present in an amount sufficient to limit the &ggr;-region.
