Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for mechanically stripping the insulation of electrical and fiber-optic single- or multi-line conductors ( ). The device comprises: an inlet opening for the conductor ( ) or for a conductor end, a clamping device with at least one clamping jaw ( ) and at least one knife ( ) for cutting through an insulation around the conductor ( ).
