Abstract

The present invention, in one form, is a skeg having an airfoil shape which facilitates maintaining engine control even at high speed but does not adversely affect engine performance. In one embodiment, the skeg includes a fore end, an aft end, and opposing sidewalls extending from the fore end and the aft end. One sidewall includes a camber, or curved surface, and the outer surface of the other sidewall is flat, or planar.
