Abstract
A modular jack ( ) mounted on a printed circuit board includes an insulating housing ( ) having a bottom wall ( ) and a pair of contacts ( ) received in the housing. A pair of resilient posts ( ) extend from opposite sides of the bottom wall. Each resilient post includes an outer section ( ) and an inner section ( ) with a slit ( ) being defined therebetween.
