A handheld electronic device comprising, a housing ( ) including a first housing portion ( ) and a second housing portion ( ). The first housing portion contains at least two user interfaces ( ), and the second user interface includes at least one user interface ( ). The two housing portions are coupled by a swivel hinge ( ) that allows the two housing portions to rotate about a first axis ( ) such that the housing fold together, and a second axis ( ) perpendicular to the first axis, allowing the housings to rotate relative to one another. Each user interface ( ) can be configured as an input device, output device, or combination thereof. Having multiple user interfaces allows the electronic device to operate in a plurality of modes. The user can adapt the housing by rotating the either of the two housing portions to the position associated with the desired operation mode.
