Abstract

The invention describes a display screen ( ) with a backlight, comprising at least a light source ( ) and an optical guide plate ( ). The homogeneity of the light distribution is achieved by scattering the light rays on reflective indentations ( ) in the side faces ( ) of the optical guide plate ( ) and/or by recesses ( ) having vertical walls perpendicular to the front face ( ) and/or the back face ( ) of the optical guide plate ( ).
