Abstract
A multi-chambered ampoule for dispensing a mixture of substances comprising: an oblong container ( ) having at least two cylindrical chambers ( ) which extend in the axial direction from the rear end to the front end of the container, a respective piston ( ) which can be slidingly inserted into each chamber in an axial direction, creating a seal with respect to the inner wall of the chamber, and a housing ( ) comprising a front section ( ) which surrounds a discharge channel ( ) and a rear section ( ) which is adjacent to the front section, containing an inner chamber ( ) formed therein into which the container can be inserted in such a way that the front end of the container defines a mixing chamber ( ) inside the housing, leading into a discharge channel and provides a tight closure. In a ready-to-use state, the openings at the rear end of the chambers are closed by pistons and the openings at the front end of the chambers being sealed by a sealing means ( ). A substance is contained in each of the closed chambers.
