Abstract

An apparatus ( ) for reducing inductance in a capacitor having a first terminal ( ) and a spaced-apart second terminal ( ), includes a first conductive plate ( ) and a second conductive plate ( ). The first conductive plate ( ) is electrically coupled to the first terminal ( ). The second conductive plate ( ) is electrically coupled to the second terminal ( ) and is disposed in parallel with the first conductive plate ( ) so as to overlap at least a portion of the first conductive plate ( ). An insulating member ( and ) is disposed between the first conductive plate ( ) and the second conductive plate ( ). The insulating member ( and ) insulates the first conductive plate ( ) from the second conductive plate ( ).
