Abstract

A display instrument, in particular for a vehicle, with a printed circuit board, at least one illuminable display area and at least one illuminating element which has an LED and can be fastened on the printed circuit board by a contact socket. To simplify the production of the display instrument, the contact socket has a support component for activation electronics for activating the LED.
