Abstract

A bandgap reference circuit has a pre-regulator that achieves a low temperature coefficient through the use of a first component that generates a first voltage having a negative temperature coefficient and a second component coupled in series to the first component and which generates a second voltage having a positive temperature coefficient. This low temperature coefficient in the pre-regulator allows the bandgap reference circuit to output the bandgap voltage V with a low temperature coefficient.
