Abstract
Methods and compositions are disclosed for prevention and/or treatment of diseases in which 5- and 12-lipoxygenase activity contributes to the pathological condition, by administration of 12-methyletradecanoic acids alone and in conjunction with other therapeutic compounds. Methods to inhibit lipoxygenase-mediated inflammations are disclosed.
