Abstract

A transport roller has high rigidity and the surface supported at its center portion thereof is formed as a low-friction surface by the polish finishing process and the surface thereof except for the low-friction surface is formed as a high-friction surface by the ceramic coating process. The driven roller is disposed so as to oppose to the low-friction surface in a manner that the surface thereof extends over the boundary of the low-friction surface and the high-friction surface The driven roller may be disposed in a manner that the surface thereof extends over the entire width of the low-friction surface
