A control system for a selective clutch that prevents interference with automatic engagement/disengagement of a friction clutch ( ) when manual engagement/disengagement is selected at the time of starting a vehicle. The selective clutch includes an autoclutch device that automatically disengages and engages the clutch ( ) using an actuator ( ) under the control of a controller ( ).
