Abstract
The invention relates to a process of generating N(CF ) anions by reacting a metal fluoride of formula MF with a compound of formula R SO N(CF ) , (CF ) N(SO CF ) SO N(CF ) or R CON(CF ) . The invention further relates to the use of the N(CF ) anions as a reagent for the introduction of halogen or other organic groups into organic molecules.
