Abstract
A tire whose crown has a ply of bimodulus reinforcements circumferentially oriented and spiral-wound, the ply being so arranged that, in the new tire, its reinforcements have a high-temperature contraction potential identical to that of the adhesive yarn before it is introduction in the tire. The tire has an appreciably diminished running noise.
