Abstract
A flat-type shielded cable includes a plurality of signal wires , each having an insulating covering member, and a drain wire , which are juxtaposed to one another in closely-contacted relation to one another, a shielding layer , and an insulating sheath , the shielding layer and the insulating sheath sequentially covering an outer periphery of the juxtaposed wires. This cable is characterized in that an outer diameter of the signal wire is in a range of 1.25 mm to 1.4 mm, and an cross-sectional area of a conductor of the signal wire is 0.03 to 0.09 mm , and the insulating covering member of the signal wire is made of an insulative material having a dielectric contact of 1.7 to 2.8, and a characteristic impedance of the signal wire is 75&OHgr; (±10%).
