Abstract
A cartridge for setting devices if formed of a pot-shaped plastics material cartridge housing ( ), which has a surface ( ) contacting the inner contour ( ) of a cartridge chamber of the setting device. A sealing cover ( ) closes off the housing ( ) at its open end ( ). The sealing cover ( ) has a cylindrical section ( ), which extends into the interior ( ) of the housing ( ) and expands under the pressure developed upon ignition of the cartridge, so that a positive connection results between the housing ( ) and the sealing cover ( ).
