Abstract
A casting furnace ( ) for producing castings which are directionally solidified in monocrystalline and polycrystalline form. The casting furnace ( ) includes an upper heating chamber ( ), which is equipped with a heating chamber wall ( ) which contains at least one heater element, a lower cooling chamber ( ), and contains a casting mold ( ) which is moved by means of a conveyor device.
