Abstract

In an integrated circuit in which data can be read out from a memory ( ) by supplying control data through an access port ( ), this integrated circuit includes an access detecting circuit ( ) for detecting an access using the access port ( ) and an output inhibit circuit ( ) for inhibiting the output of data from the memory ( ) when this access detecting circuit detects the access. Therefore, in the integrated circuit in which data can be read out from the memory ( ) outside of the integrated circuit by a standardized protocol, the reading of data that should be made unintelligible can be limited.
