Abstract

Data D of 384 symbols each (fundamental data) corresponding to a transmission rate on a communication line is sequentially obtained by de-interleaving received data. A de-repetition circuit sequentially outputs four kinds of data D to D of 384 symbols, 192 symbols, 96 symbols and 48 symbols, including data transfer rates of approximately 9600 bps, approximately 4800 bps, approximately 2400 bps and approximately 1200 bps in response to the data D of 384 symbols each. In that case, the data D is outputted as the data D as it is. At that very moment, a hold circuit and an adder are used to generate data whose data amount is times the data amount from the data D as the next outputted data D , and the data thus generated is written in a memory . When data D , D are also outputted, data D , D are respectively generated in the same way. Thus, it is sufficient that the received data of 384 symbols each might be de-interleaved once.
