Abstract
A device with a gas sensor for measuring a breathing gas component in a breathing gas line is improved such that a pressure correction of the gas concentration measurement can be performed without appreciably affecting the respiration pressure. Provisions are made for branching off a first measuring gas line ( ) with a first electrochemical measuring cell ( ) from the breathing gas line ( ). A first throttling point ( ) is arranged in the course of the first measuring gas line ( ) between the first electrochemical measuring cell ( ) and the breathing gas line ( ). A first pressure sensor ( ), for the pressure correction, is located downstream of the first electrochemical measuring cell ( ).
