Abstract

A fuel injector includes a body having a nozzle end and a connector end. The body defines a side feed opening disposed between said nozzle end and said connector end. An injection assembly is disposed in the nozzle end and includes an actuating coil, a value actuated by the coil, and a valve seat operably associated with the valve.
