Abstract
A liquid crystal cell ( ) is structured by bonding a first thin substrate ( ) having first electrodes ( ) and a second thick substrate ( ) having second electrodes ( ) together with an anisotropic conductive sealant ( ), sandwiching a liquid crystal layer ( ) therebetween, and providing a color filter ( ) on the thicker substrate ( ).
