Abstract
The disclosed invention relates to unsupported, anisotropically shaped, cubic SrTiO single crystal particles and their method of manufacture. The particles have a rectangular face and measure about 10-40 micron in edge length, and about 2-5 micron in thickness. The anisotropically shaped, cubic SrTiO single crystal particles are made by reacting tabular Sr Ti O with TiO in the presence of a molten alkali salt.
