Abstract

The belt body of a power transmission belt is composed of a rubber composition comprising ethylene-á-olefin elastomer as the raw material rubber. The ethylene-á-olefin elastomer as the raw material rubber comprises 7 to 12 mass % of a high molecular weight component having a molecular weight of 10 or more and an ethylene content of 65 mass % or more, and 26 to 60 mass % of a low molecular weight component having a molecular weight of 10 or less and an ethylene content of 60 mass % or less, and the ethylene-é-olefin elastomer has a Mooney viscosity of 50 ML or less (100 C.).
