Abstract

A pneumatic servobrake having a detector ( ) for the measurement of the pressure in a front chamber ( ). The detector ( ) has a baseplate ( ) that is situated opposite an opening ( ) in a wall ( ) of the front chamber ( ). A yoke-forming cage ( ) that is placed over the opening ( ) has an opening ( ) that is traversed by a pressure sampling tube ( ). The tube has a collar ( ) that is retained between the cage ( ) and the baseplate ( ). An adapter ( ) connected to the wall ( ) urges the tube ( ) against the cage ( ) to allow for both a sideways motion ( ) and a tilting motion ( ). The lower part ( ) of the tube ( ) is fitted with an O ring ( ) to establish a sealed pneumatic connection between the tube ( ) and baseplate ( ) such that a first sensor ( ) is isolated from a second sensor ( ) in a measurement of pressure in the first chamber ( ).
