Abstract
A cantilevered frame in a paper machine dryer group of a dryer section supports a drying wire loop to run by at least one impingement drying unit positioned outside the loop. The frame structure ( ) supports devices and rolls situated inside the wire loop ( ) of the dryer group (R) which guide and support the run of the wire ( ) and the web (W). A dryer section may have multiple such dryer groups which overlap one another with closed draws therebetween.
