Abstract

When working a linear guide rail having one or more raceway grooves on the side surfaces thereof, using rotary dies each including on the circumferential portion thereof a projection-shaped working portion matched in shape to the raceway groove the raceway grooves are rolled onto a rail blank work W. Since the raceway grooves can be rolled with high accuracy by a single working step, the working time of the raceway grooves as well as the working cost thereof can be reduced.
