Abstract
An electronic equipment enclosure ( ) for housing electronic equipment ( ), and broadly comprising a pivot bracket ( ); a plurality of sleeves ( ), each being associated with a transmit terminal ( ), a receive terminal ( ), protective circuitry ( ), and test circuitry ( ); a spreader plate ( ); and a heat sink ( ). The pivot bracket ( ) allows for tilting an outer housing ( ) up to 30° relative to a mounting surface. The separate and distinct transmit and receive terminals ( ) maintain minimum cross-talk and interference levels. The protective and the test circuitries ( ) are located on daughter boards adjacent each sleeve ( ) so as to be easily accessible. The spreader plate ( ) is operable to force the sleeves ( ) into direct contact with the interior surface of the outer housing ( ). The heat sink ( ) is operable to facilitate conductive heat transfer between the sleeves ( ) and the lid ( ).
