Abstract
A method for configuring a telecommunication system having at least one sending entity and one receiving entity connected by a link that ensures the transmission of several transport channels of different qualities of service in which the sending entity performs a rate matching between various qualities of service, after which the various qualities of service are multiplexed and where the matching rate specific to each quality of service is determined on the basis of a parameter (E ) representative of the ratio Eb/I specific to the quality of service considered.
