Abstract

Antenna elements ( ) to ( ) are arranged at both ends in a diamond shape, and are located opposite to each other, while a length (a) of one edge of this diamond shape is set to a ½ wavelength (&lgr;/2). Antenna elements ( ) to ( ) are arranged in such a way that three portions are bent and the bent antenna elements are located opposite to each other, while a length (b) of one edge thereof is set to a ¼ wavelength (&lgr;/4). One ends of the antenna elements ( ) to ( ) are connected to the antenna elements ( ) to ( ), whereas the other ends thereof are connected to the antenna elements ( ) to ( ). The antenna elements ( ) and ( ), and the antenna elements ( ) and ( ) are connected to each other at a power supply unit ( ). With employment of such a structure, an antenna having a higher gain can be realized with having a simple plane structure.
