Abstract
A spring probe assembly which contains spring probes and used for mating to various planar devices, such as a printed circuit board, via spring contact with interface areas on their surfaces. The assembly is comprised of a non-metallic, insulating material block which has been crafted to secure multiple, impedance matched, coaxial spring probe assemblies and ground spring pins A metallic clip is used to join the signal probe shield with the ground spring pin in the appropriate geometry, while isolating that signal probe shield and ground spring pin from all other signal probe shields and ground pins The pins of the signal probes make contact with the surfaces of various planar devices via back pressure applied to the pins
