Abstract
Actuator, especially suited for an actuating mechanism for parabolic and other reflector dishes. The actuator comprises two co-axial cylinders ( ). A helical guideway ( ) is provided on the outer surface of the inner cylinder ( ) or the inner surface of the outer cylinder ( ), and a plurality of guide means are provided on the other of the outer surface of the inner cylinder ( ) or the inner surface of the outer cylinder ( ) to run in or along the helical guideway ( ).
