Abstract
Foaming apparatus for displacing the remaining air volume in a container, particularly bottles ( ), filled with filling material using foaming, with the apparatus comprising a nozzle arrangement which comprises at least one injection nozzle ( ) disposed above a transport conveyor ( ) and which apparatus is provided for the displacement of the remaining air volume and is configured to impact the bottle with a jet of a gaseous or liquid foaming medium. It is thereby provided that the foaming medium is guided through a protection gas space ( ) into the bottle opening, with the protection gas space being configured in part in the ambient air.
