Abstract
Live strains of HY2177 and HY2743 maintained in nutritious foods, such as yogurt, imbue them with prophylactic and/or therapeutic properties. Such foods are beneficial in the prevention and/or treatment of gastritis, duodenal and gastric ulcers caused by infection from (also referred to as ). The properties of these bacteria are boosted by the addition of egg yolk containing antibodies specific to antigen derived from “fractionated ” and may be administered as active strains alone in a food supplement, or the active strains may be combined with -antibodies (IgY).
