Abstract
Described herein is a novel high efficiency teeth bleaching system based on thesynergetic action of the combination of hydrogen peroxide (in a free form or in the form of its adduct with urea) and peroxide and/or percarbonates of metals belonging to the first or second group of the periodic table. In one embodiment, the system of the preferred embodiment comprises two components, one containing hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide (hydrogen peroxide/urea adduct), and the other containing metal peroxides and/or percarbonates. Mixing of the two components results in the accelerated generation of radical oxygen, which relates to faster teeth bleaching action.
