Abstract
An input rotary member and an output rotary member are circumferentially and elastically coupled together via first and second damper mechanisms and arranged in parallel. The first damper mechanism includes first springs The first springs are arranged between the input and output rotary members and for transmitting torque therebetween. Compression of the first springs does not start before a torsion angle reaches a first torsion angle The second damper mechanism includes second springs and a high hysteresis torque generating mechanism arranged in series. The second springs can be compressed only within a range of a torsion angle &thgr;AC smaller than the first torsion angle &thgr;
