Abstract
A waveguide-to-microstrip transition ( ) for converting and directing electromagnetic wave signals to an electronic signal processing component ( ). A waveguide ( ) directs the signals to a waveguide input and is received by a probe ( ). A bent microstrip line ( A) which is connected to the probe ( ) directs the received signals from the probe ( ) to the electronic signal processing component ( ). An output port ( ) provides a connection between the bent microstrip line ( A) and the electronic signal processing component ( ). The output port ( ) is not inline with respect to the probe ( ), but the microstrip line ( A) includes a bend so as to direct the received signals from the probe ( ) to the output port ( ).
