Abstract
The present invention relates to a thin-plate supporting container having a container body , and a thin-plate supporting unit for supporting the semiconductor wafers from both sides thereof in the container body. There are provided a lid , and an easy attach/detach mechanism for attaching and detaching the lid . The easy attach/detach mechanism is composed of a lid engaging claw provided on the circumference of the lid , and object engagement part , provided on the container body , for engaging with the lid engagement claw so as to secure the lid to the container body , an arm for releasing the lid engagement claw from the object engagement part ; and an elevating mechanism for slightly elevating the lid from the container body when the lid engagement claw is released by means of the arm . The thin-plate supporting unit , the top flange , the carrying handle are detachably mounted. The thin-plate supporting unit is formed with a V-shaped groove . For the container to be easily stacked, there are provided leg and a leg receiving part . Thereby, the operations of attaching and detaching the lid and the operation of washing the whole container are made easy.
