Abstract

The invention concerns a support of the type comprising at least a first base ( ), and, borne by the latter, for maintaining such an optical lens ( ) at its edge ( ), at least three support pins ( A, B). The invention is characterized in that the base comprises, for its own support, a plane support surface ( ) whereof the peripheral outline (P ) is globally circular, its radial dimension (D ) along a particular radius (R) of said support surface ( ) is at least equal to its axial dimension (D ) perpendicularly to the plane thereof. The invention is particularly useful for maintaining an optical lens in a processing apparatus using spin coating technique.
