Abstract
A double glazing having a plurality of sheet glass ( ) ( ) juxtaposed in the direction of thickness with spacers ( ) arranged in between, peripheries of these sheet glasses ( ) ( ) being sealed throughout the circumference thereof. Reinforced sheet glass is employed for at least one of the plurality of sheet glasses ( ) ( ), and the peripheries of the sheet glasses are sealed by a sealing material having a sealing temperature below 400° C.
