Abstract
A connector is configured to include a female connector ( ) and a male connector ( ) and further includes a locking piece ( ) for holding the fitting state where the male connector ( ) is fitted into the female connector ( ) as well as a slider ( ) for biasing the male connector ( ) in a direction opposite to the fitting direction by the repulsive force of a coil spring ( ) when both the connectors ( ) are in a half-fitting state. A locking mechanism portion ( ) is provided in adjacent to a male connector insertion portion ( ) for coupling the connectors to each other within the female connector housing ( ) of the female connector ( ). Further, a slider insertion portion and the slider ( ) are provided with tapered surfaces ( C, ) for rotating the slider ( ) by a predetermined angle in accordance with the movement of the slider ( ) in the fitting direction, whereby the slider ( ) can be engaged with the locking piece ( ) with in accordance with the rotation of the slider.
