Abstract
A canceling device ( ) for a blinker switch in motor vehicles effects automatic return of the blinker switch from one of the two switched positions into the neutral central position. Towards this end, a casing ( ) having a catch profile ( ) is provided as is a movable pretensioned trigger finger ( ) which can be loaded by the cam ( ) of a steering shaft ( ) and with a pivotable switching part ( ) having pretensioned catch elements ( ). To reduce the actuating forces, the catch profile ( ) is provided with a movable locking section ( ). The trigger finger ( ) should be connected to the movable locking section ( ) such that the locking section ( ) releases the catch element ( ) when the trigger finger ( ) is actuated.
