Abstract

A fluid circuit connects a pressure applying portion ( ) and a distal device ( ) to charge fluid into the distal device ( ). The fluid circuit includes a controller ( ) to control the movement of ligating rings ( ). The controller ( ) senses a pressure drop in the distal device ( ) when one or a plural number of the ligating rings ( ) are separated from the distal device ( ). The movement of the ligating rings ( ) is stopped in accordance with the pressure drop so that at least two or more of the ligating rings can be separated at a time. Accordingly, ligation of esophageal varices and internal hemorrhoids can be performed successively.
