Abstract

A mechanical key ( ) is housed in a mechanical key storing part ( ) offset to one side within a key body ( ), a bulge ( ) of a key head ( ) being housed in an extension part ( ) of an aperture ( ), a bridging part ( ) that forms a holder linking hole ( ) being formed so as to protrude at just the center of the rear end surface of the key body ( ) thereby establishing left-to-right symmetry and avoiding an unbalanced appearance. Because the key head ( ) of the mechanical key ( ) can be formed so that the lever length from the key center axis line is large, it is possible to lighten the key rotational force when the mechanical key is used.
