Abstract

The use of epiallopregnanolone (3&bgr;-hydroxy-5&agr;-pregnan-20-one) for the treatment of steroid induced mood disorders and CNS disorders is disclosed. Further, the use of epiallopregnanolone for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals is disclosed, together with an list of symptoms suitable for treatment with epiallopregnanolone.
