Abstract
A selected thickener-rheology modifier system comprising the combination of a hydrophobically, modified alkali-soluble thickener and a polysaccharide hydrocolloid or gum or polyalkylene glycol, preferably with a surfactant and more preferably with boric acid is especially useful in personal care compositions such as hair care and skin care compositions.
