Abstract

This invention provides a joint connector which keeps connector housings in parallel in its temporary setting condition so as to eliminate a joining failure and prevent an abnormal load from being applied on a tab. More specifically, this invention provides a joint connector allowing connector housings to be joined together through plural stages with its front face overlaid on its rear face, wherein in the temporary setting condition before the connector housings ( ) are joined together, joining protrusions ( ) formed on the front face ( ) make contact with an opening peripheral portion of each of joining protrusion fitting holes ( ) while connector temporary engaging faces ( ) of front face rear lock member ( ) on the front face and back face rear lock member ( ) on the back face ( ) are in contact with each other so as to maintain each of the connector housings ( ) in a predetermined attitude.
